Fish Head

We often run across dead fish in our walks along the beach. Little, spiny "puffer" fish are a common sight, but this beached head was from something much larger. I suspect a local fisherman had been successfully fishing off Playa La Ropa overnight. Early the next morning I encountered three of these "leftover" heads at various spots as I made my way up the beach. By the time I headed back down, however, only this one had not been washed back out to sea.
