Roxette at Sun City

C&R snr attended the Roxette show at Sun City Superbowl tonight! I teased her, said she misses M&Z (MissU2) só much she just had to go see another Swede!! Hehehehe! They slept over at the main Hotel at Sun City, and she took my camera, and brought me some gorgeous pics!! Eisch, what a job to choose ONE from almost 1,000!! ;-)

C&R enjoyed it tremendously, it was an absolute blast!! In this picture, she wore a 'Springbok shirt' which was an instant favourite with the fans attending!! I like the 'big screen' in which everybody could see her more clearly than on the stage! It is such a huge indoor venue, seats in the region of 10,600 people. C&R were fortunate to get tickets in a lovely seated spot!

Roxette is one of the world's most successful hit machines. The band has ruled album and single charts all over the world with massive songs like 'It Must Have Been Love', 'Listen to Your Heart', 'Joyride', 'How Do You Do!', 'Dangerous', 'Fading Like A Flower' and 'Dressed For Success'. My personal favorite was 'Joyride', their 1991 award winning hit!!

Oh, still wanted to tell you about Francois, right opposite our front door, where Fanie(our gate guard) rents a flatlet. His daughter Cecile, just a few months older than R jnr, is a first year student at Tuks, lovely child! She was run over, on her bicycle in Hatfield, Pretoria, yesterday, by a young woman. Cecile is still in a coma, more than 48 hours later, in ICU at The Little Company of Mary Hospital in Pretoria! Serious head injuries and skull fractures, but it doesn't seem like the brain is damaged, her right leg does not react in too well when stimulated, don't know whether it will heal 100% yet. She has a fractured collar bone as well. She had some surgery, but only on the head and brain, to relieve the pressure. Blood was running from the ears, pillow drenched in blood!!

PLEASE PRAY FOR THEM!! This dear man lost his one son, to a genetic kidney disease, age 17, a few years ago, his wife passe on a little while later! He married Hanlie a few years later, and they are só happy together! Hanlie is such a good mother to Cecile, who lost her mom at a very young age! Now this tragedy!!! He has one other son, Danie, who got married a couple weeks ago!! This is a really difficult time for this lovely family!!
