Ducklings

Another shot of some of the ducklings. It was a yuk day here again today, lashing rain, gales, but inbetween we did have some blue sky, but really windy.... not nice May weather at all. Feel sorry for the ducklings, but they don't seem to notice.

Both ducks seem to be swapping ducklings at regular intervals...the poor ducklings haven't a clue which mum to go with so just run to the nearest one! One duck will take any who wants to follow her, but the other 'noisy' duck is rather picky and has taken a dislike to certain duckings so will 'shoo' them away. But then five minutes later the ducks are waddling together with all the ducklings running about. Lovely to watch them, but just wish the weather would get a bit better so I could stay out watching them when I have my tea breaks.
