Time flies....
I met a little girl in the woods the other day (disclaimer: she was with her gran and she spoke to me first... ) and she told me that the dandelion she was carrying was ugly. I said that it wasn't. I said it couldn't be ugly because it was so delicate. She said that it was a dandelion clock.
Well if it is, this one suggests that I better get a move on. Somebody out there knows why I haven't done anything productive for the best part of the day. I enjoyed it, but there's no tea on the table as yet. I guess we are looking at a stir fry or something similar.
Anyway, the good news is that:
Ayr picked up a draw with Brechin last night and the replay will be on Sunday.
The sticky toffee and aniseed bread buns I made yesterday were awesome.
I'm just about organised for the trip down to Glasgow tomorrow. ('cited!)
On the other hand the bad news is that:
Ayr gave away a goal at home.
The sticky toffee buns are all done are and it's mostly my fault.
I just heard Chris Patten got the top job at the BBC (I know, I'm a bit slow on the uptake!)
Ho hum.
