WOW, BRILLIANT, AWESOME!

Just got home after spending the afternoon in Glasgow listening to the daughter's honours recital.

Well, I know parents are meant to say wow, brilliant, awesome... but really, WOW! BRILLIANT, AWESOME!

She had arranged, Amazing Grace, Cansoun Per Ma Mio, Eleanor Rigby, Bach Cello Suite No1, Amelia and Black Hole Sun with jazz classics interwoven through them. All played on the baritone and alto saxes with her quartet and a terrific band and vocalist.

Now she's in Edinburgh playing the Jazz Rooms with Lou Hickey. The man and I are completely knackered and we are going to sit down and take it all in.

What a star!

PS L - we wanted to play a CD of the music on the way home - but we didn't have one. Why not? This has to be rectified SOON! X
