Silage

Today's the day ..................... to work late

It took all day to brighten up - but by the time I left work, the sun was shining in a clear blue sky. Will and I jumped in the car and headed off to gladderscountry.

First stop was the Arnside Chipper. This has the best fish and chips south of Moffat - and we ate them outside looking over the Kent estuary. There were lots of people out and about enjoying the lovely evening as the sun slowly went down.

We had a quick look at the Lady's Slipper Orchid at Silverdale before we set off for home. I took this on the way and as you can see someone was still hard at it - Friday night or not. No strolling about for them - there was silage to get in ....................
