That's SO Portlandia!
Been feeling crap all day, and I almost didn't Blip, but on my way to see the naturopath, I passed a trendy little storefront school for kids being home-schooled (progressive Portland parents who believe in Unschooling)...and there hanging in the window were some mind-boggling twisted proverbs. Which one to Blip? I went with the most exciting to me visually, and I love the message here...which I think has special value to Annie. But there are several that strike me as sheer genius, proverbs I want to take with me through whatever is left of my life.
My favorite, philosophically, is this: "You can lead a horse to water but...not through time. Ariel."
Also wonderful:
"Love all, trust...everybody but young children. Elijah."
"Never underestimate the power of...mushrooms. Maya."
"If at first you don't succeed...don't go crying to your Mom. Oscar."
"Don't bite the hand that...belongs to you. Lucy."
"The pen is mightier than...the pencil. (Unsigned.)"
"Better late than...early. (Unsigned.)"
I might have to make a Blipfolio for the others...when I have time. They're not only genius but the artwork on them is just breath-taking. Made my day!
