S-t-r-e-t-c-h

A young Baltimore oriole reaches for a tasty tidbit...but first she tested my perseverance by flitting from tree-to-tree and hiding behind as many branches and twigs as she could find to conceal herself. Note: Adult male orioles have black heads.

We enjoyed a beautiful day today. It was mostly sunny and warm but not too hot...a great morning for blipping the migratory warblers.

Especially for "just be"- A chipmunk that posed for me.
