Buzz off! Beat it, bird!

The look on the face of this tree swallow, along with his threatening body language, was meant to scare off an intruder that had designs on his perch. He looks pretty determined, but was he successful? In a word: NO! If you want to know how this confrontation played out, you can see it here.

We enjoyed a beautiful day today. I wandered around the park for two hours this morning enjoying the sunshine and taking lots of pictures. This was another one of those wonderful days when choosing which picture to post became a challenge. It was a day made for blipping.
