where boats are built

Joy and I took a trip today where my husband makes boats by hand. This pile of wood shavings fascinated me. I loved the light on it. In fact, I took some shavings home in a paper bag to see what I could do with them art-wise!

Joy made a bookmark in my studio, I started a journal page and we had great fun together. We also went thrift-shopping, found some cool clothes and had lots of time to talk. It is great to have her here!!
