My way or the highway...
Here I am demonstrating my "stubborn" move. Mum thought you might like to see me in action.
This morning I was a bit worried. You see mum ALWAYS gets up and gives me breakfast and ALWAYS takes me for my morning walk but I hadn't seen her since she went for a bath at 8 o clock last night. Apparently Daddy was in charge because mum was a bit at the end of her tether with me!
So she got to have a lie in and daddy took me out. mmm I thought, I wonder if I can try my stubborness on him. He took me to the cricket field again. There were some men cutting the grass and some boys practicing with their cricket bats and balls but you see daddy is sooooo exciting. I just wanted to stay with him. He always runs and plays football with me. He doesn't stand chatting with other dog owners like mum does! I did escape from him in the woods though, I even got into someones back garden. Tee hee. But I did go back to him more quickly than I do to mum.
When I got back mum was there! I was sooooo excited. I jumped all over her and every time she has sat down today I have jumped up for a cuddle. I want her to know I love her.
We all went out together this afternoon, so mum could show him what I do. We did our normal morning walk and I showed them, yes I did. I DO NOT want to walk on the lead with them. It is soooo boring. They each took turns with the lead and daddy taught mum how to be a little bit more patient in waiting for me to move on but they still can't figure out why I suddenly do it. I trot along just fine then suddenly stop dead and plant my feet like this. Sometimes I even lie down. Hee hee!
We did a lot of recall in the woods. I was very good at coming back, MOST of the time!!
I'm going to snuggle up with mum a lot tonight. I don't want her to be grumpy and at the "end of her doggie tether"
Bye for now
