Kid's Day

It was kid's day at our complex pool which meant the children of all the various workers were invited to spend the afternoon in the pool and then have dinner under the palapa. My wife and I were asked to help out in the water with games and life-guarding. It was a blast! About a dozen kids ages 1 to 12 years spent hours playing in the water with us and it didn't matter if we could speak Spanish or not. Shelley, my wife, even managed to teach one little girl how to swim. I suggested we have kid's day every Friday, but judging by the tired adult faces I think it will remain and annual event. Sure glad we were here for it this year.
