Occupational Hazard!

Apologies for having to backblip yesterday. We arrived back early hours if the morning with a few drinks too many, so wasn't up to posting blip! Today's been hectic, although we did have a lazy breakfast in bed! Then the rest of the day has been rush rush rush!

It's been nice having B at home. She had booked this weekend off as her sister had arrived from Portugal for a short stay, so didn't want to miss any opportunity to see her! They do a lot of catching up...if you get my meaning! Tomorrow's going to be manic, up early and off back down to Kent...for a few more hours of ear bashing!

Having arrived in the early hours today, Tom was excited, for although he was annoyed with himself for losing concentration for a split second at work the previous evening...it meant that he could be my blip tonight!

Sharpening one of his knives whilst keeping an eye on the Commis Chef and delivering orders at another, he felt a strange resistance on his blade. Wondering what it was, he turned to see a large flap of his finger winking at him! Quick ride to hospital and 3 stitches later, he's back at work with everyone highly amused!

Today, he's been the butt of their jokes with raspberry jus being spread over hands and cries of "...quick Thomas, I need to go to hospital!".

He smiles accepting you have to take as good as you give, although I suspect his smile is masked by a scream of "Where's my table 14?"....and maybe an expletive too!

So today was spend with a rigid left index finger getting caught on pans and cloths, whites and handles. Were you to see his arms and now his finger (which you can here), you would be forgiven for thinking he was a self abuser! Burning is a regular pain he has to suffer in the confines of his small kitchen.

Guess it comes with the job!
