Special effects

I was meant to be going on a big walk today with friends from work, but the rain and gales have meant that it's had to be postponed. A good job too as I seem to have trapped a nerve in my neck/shoulder and it's making anything I do quite painful. I know it's important to keep moving so I dragged myself out for a short walk and took my waterproof compact with me. I caught this shot of a flower and then spent some time editing it and I liked this effect. Fingers crossed something goes crack in my neck soon.
