Right Here Right Now

For every storm....

...there is a rainbow.

Sunday nights mean homework, spellings, book reading, uniforms and packed lunches - I did stop for a minute while juggling all this and wonder how dads (and some mums I guess) can just up and leave their children and their responsibilities - to persue what they want without a second thought.

Having children is hard, you don't have a lot of time for yourself...but to give up and decide that the child free life is preferable and a bit easier...and only see them for 2 whole days and a couple of evenings a month is beyond my comprehension.

I don't think I will ever understand.

But, it was only a minute that I dwelled - the juggling and tricky times are more than made up for by the school assemblies, the plays, the crafts, the parties, the sleepovers, the days out, the bath times, the bedtime stories and the day to day stuff I get to do with my girls. I am so lucky to have three wonderful children.

Really proud that my girls are doing so well, Lily working hard at Uni (and has just finished her exams!) and the two little ones at primary school.

They love Junior University and Eve is enrolled in card making and Jeanne in Eco crafts this term, and they have already brought home some lovely creations!

Eve made a great Pokemon card, and Jeanne made this colourful paperweight.

Can't wait to have Lily home on Thursday!
