Auld Roofs

I'm high up in the buildings of New College, Edinburgh and though we're very tucked away (so the view is limited) what you can see out of the very grubby window is a fascinating glimpse of the vast array of old roofs nearby. I love the way they're all shapes and sizes, and all jumbled up together. It gives you just a tiny idea what the view across the roofs in the 'old days' must have looked like - if you include all the washing hanging out to dry as well!
