will it ever stop?!

this is the only photo i took today, through the rear cover on the stern of the boat, you can see the causeway - just! again, torrential rain & strong winds.

am posting this 2 days later & i've just heard from my friend who owns the boat, that they have had gusts of wind at force 11, & this weather cover is in tatters! i am really glad i came home yesterday - friday night was so stormy that i barely slept - the boat banging down onto the water, a mere few centimeters from my head, through the hull.
