An Interesting Bollard

No really, it is!

What looks like a solitary traffic bollard at the top of Leith Street, just outside the old Post Office is in fact an old horse hitching post. Leith Street being tough work for a single horse to climb up, there were always a couple of spare beasties tied up here, waiting to help with the work.
