Beaufort

Being rocked and shaken in your own bed while the caravan got violently buffeted by the wind for most of the night, not quite the idyllic end to the break I was hoping for. Packing the car was a struggle in itself, trying to maneouvre bags whilst hanging on to the doors and trying not to get guillotined by a slamming boot. Never seen or heard wind like it. Ridiculously strong. Needless to say, we came straight home, stopping at none of the tourist attractions that a rain-blasted, gale-beaten Dumfrieshire could offer up.

A little bit of music today, but nowt significant. Instead I'll offer up summat else from the book I'm reading. From the 'Forgotten Folk' chapter, this is one I've liked for some time now, her voice is pretty unforgettable.
