University of Otago's Clocktower

We to the University of Otago?s Centre for Innovation today to catch up with Paul, of @five15design fame. Hes helping me with a wee idea I have, well really hes turning a seed of an idea into something thats concrete and its turning out to be really exciting. He is just full of ideas and talking to him leaves me fizzing. We left and were presented with the University of Otago clocktower, possibly one of the most photographed and recognisable buildings in Dunedin. Never mind we all have to do it eventually so here is my meagre effort..........

It got me thinking...........

Imagine the famous people that have stood and looked at the time on this clockface.
We forget sometimes just how much history has been made on any particular spot that we choose to stand at any moment in time. Think of what has happened on the spot that you are positioned right this moment. We really have no idea what may have been going on tens of thousands of years ago on any point on the planet.
Scary eh!!!
