Waiting for Mum

Despite the continued wind today we (my friend Liz and I) had another nice walk around St Ives. We discovered the cross legged imp by the bench and I did take a picture but my friend declined to sit in the same position claiming age as an excuse! Thank you for your directions Wendy.

A park ranger was just taping off one of the lower paths as we got there as a large tree had split and half of it was leaning precariously against an oak tree. Lots of small branches and green leaves strewn on the paths too due no doubt to the strong winds we have been having.

The irises around Coppice pond were past there best but there were baby coots on the water and as we came to the bird feeding platform ducks and Canadian geese came flying across the pond sure we had something for them. Luckily someone just behind us did!

All these things gave me some great potential blips. How to decide?
On our way back we stopped for sustenance at Lady B's cafe as we were going on to do some more painting at the bungalow. Lady B's welcomes dogs as there are so many dog walkers in the estate but this lady chose to leave her two dogs outside as she went in to order her food and sat outside, as we did, enjoying the sunshine.

These two didn't take there eyes off the door the whole time she was in there.
I'm not a great dog person, never having owned one but I do admire many fellow blippers dogs - especially 'Anne Kingston's' Airedale terriers and those wonderful little Westies belonging to 'Trial and Error.' so today my blip is these two faithful friends. ( Maybe they were just anticipating some food themselves?)
