Cornflower

Went out for a walk tonight, now that the wind has died down, with a mission for tonight's blip to be buttercups. Found these Cornflowers in amongst the overgrowth and couldn't resist a shot focusing on them instead. As a girl, gardening was never very high on my parents' list of household chores. Now that I come to think of it, I don't think there actually was anything on that list as they were too busy working or partying. However, against all odds, Cornflowers faithfully sprung into bloom year-in-year-out to lend some blue delight to the horticultural melee.
