Clematis Montana

Clematis Montana, with a bit of processing, from a neighbour's garden. I used to have this growing up the back of the house before it had to be removed when we had the kitchen extension built. A beautiful, reliable splash of early summer colour - I do love this.

Up at Stirling today for a conference and should have made the effort to stop on the way up, when the sun was still shining, to take a shot of the fantastic views and countryside. Anyway, due back up there again on Wednesday so see if I can be more organised for a tribute to the beautiful Scottish landscape.
