A little bit of history.

It's a really miserable day - cold, grey and wet, so I've spent the morning emptying boxes of photos, papers and lots of rubbish. I came across this archive which brought back such memories. This telegram was sent to me from Buckingham Palace on the day of my Coronation as Rose Queen at my local church. How proud was I to hear from Her Majesty, the Queen!! She had been crowned Queen 4 weeks before me.
