Mont-Cenis

Day 9: What a shame that I can't publish more photos for this day! The top of the Alps was in the clouds. So, so beautiful. I like the thought of passing through the top of the world to get to the middle. :) It was freezing and snowy, but stunningly quiet on the road. A beautiful icy lake at the top. And Italy at the bottom. I am in a lovely franciscan monastery in Turin tonight. Full of energy. I've traveled about 800 km at this point, it seems.
