Did this ever fly?.

This rather ugly looking aeroplane sits rotting away in a ex cold war airfield that is now used as a proving ground and for storing hundreds of cars.
The proving ground is just like the one used in Top Gear , a British motoring programe.
Also stored there are a number of cold war fighters and bombers along with other previously classified aircraft .
Im not sure if i was allowed to take this but hey you have got to try , and anyway i did it on the fly (no phun intended).
