The Beast!

I've seen the President of the USA! Three times. When I say I've seen him, I should point out that I saw him, through the blacked-out windows of his Beast, as he wizzed past my eyes, on his way to and from his schedule of appointments in the city. The motorcade was HUGE. I'll have to watch my video back to count them, but it made for quite a spectacle, with their full-beam headlights, wailing sirens and blue & red flashers!

By complete contrast, we saw the Kosovan president with his 2-car entourage amble down a cobbled street in the Old Town, where he pulled up for lunch! His security guard gave us a wave! He was one of 19 other Presidents in town this weekend, for a meeting of EU leaders on Friday night.
