Operahuset

Spent a lazy morning enjoying the Scandinavian sunshine in Langhus, then got a train into the city where we found a suitably sunny table at the waterfront next to the Opera House where we waited for Elin to clock off from work. I'm ashamed to say that I have no idea of the names of the areas where we then walked to, enjoying the fact that maps and guidebooks were not required and instead just following our hosts.

The city was bustling in the sunshine, with lots of people in town for the Eurovision concert so the atmosphere was great. We settled for an evening meal at another area of waterfront bars and cafes, (the most expensive area for wining in dining in Europe I should imagine) before heading home to get the two small people to bed. The five of us spent a lovely evening wrapped in blankets, sitting outdoors until the small hours, drinking and chatting with lots of laughter. Again, the sky was amazing but the photos at 2.30am didn't do it any justice in it's state of daylight!
