Can the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ45 come out to play?

This is my lovely, sparkly, brand spanking new camera. Frustratingly, the battery is still charging. So, I'm playing a waiting game...

It is an early 40th birthday present (I hit that one late in the summer), and I'm hoping to get to play with it lots during the next week off. Watch this space!

(This afternoon's shopping trip was intended as a trip to buy extra little presents for Alex's 4th birthday on Monday. Fortunately we did get things for him as well, but this is the item that is at the forefront of my mind at the moment.)
