Writing Off the Wall
I did it! I made a collage! *does a happy dance* Go me! Go me! Go me!
Spent most of the day today working on two different finals: Gender and my Violence Against Women final.
If i'm unsure of where a paper is going, but have a few general ideas or quotes, I like to plan it out on a wall somewhere with Post-it notes. That way, I can get a good visual of the appropriate categories and groupings.
The two ends of the collage are actually the walls of my hallway with my post-it notes on them. I thought about posting one of them, but also wanted to include a few of my favorite/key post-its.
Enjoy the colors! I'm gonna go back to typing up the outlines. All in all, a successful day!
About twenty minutes later, Sammy was tired. He had swung on the swings, ridden the polka-dotted springy horse, climbed on the monkey bars, and slid down the slide about a million times. He waved goodbye to the girl and stumbled off towards a brunette woman sitting on a wooden bench. The woman held a small bundle in pink and when Sammy approached, she glanced up and smiled tenderly. She stood up carefully and slung a blue bag over her shoulder without dropping the pink bundle. She took Sammy's hand and they walked off towards the park entrance. The girl watched them go and managed another shot of the three of them.
