Rows of Pressure...and Seats
Had to help proctor a final today for one of the second-year grad students. This is the room. I think i've decided that I want to apply to teach the Criminal Justice class.
After dinner, it was off to The Pub for some green beer to celebrate 'fake' St. Patty's day. Yum. :D Silly Pope. You can't move a holiday! St. Patty's will always be on the 17th.
A year ago today, I was in New Jersey at a small-town bar drinking a Guiness. The next day, a week in New York City began. This is the first year in about three years that I haven't been in New York City for Spring Break/St. Patty's.
Posted my first collage yesterday. Please look? It took me forever and I'm really proud of it.
The girl turned back to the slide. A little girl in pigtails was climbing shakily up the ladder. At each step, she seemed to pause and take a breath. Her knuckles were white and she seemed to have difficulty letting go of each rung. A slightly older girl, hair in a ponytail, was waiting at the bottom of the slide. Kelly seemed to be yelling encouragement to her little sister. The little one finally reached the top of the slide and looked down. Her eyes seemed to double in size and she gripped the top of the ladder. She wasn't gonna do it. She was too scared.
