Constance helps with the shopping. Previously she'd been holding the baguette in her arms, only to eject it from the buggy once she'd discovered the plastic wrapping was far better fun. This kept her entertained most of the way home from the supermarket until a scary woman dashed up to her, ripped it from her tiny hands and told me I was endangering my child's life by letting her near "that wicked stuff".
