Browns Coach Graveyard
To be found on the A483 between Garth and Cilmery in Powys, this is where Browns coaches come to die!
What you see here is just a small number of dozens of broken down buses that have taken over a defunct garage and cafe that I remember well when it was open and was owned by Percy Prynne who had a Fiat dealership in the 70's.
The cafe was buzzing, sometimes open 24 hours a day as there were so many car rallys that took place near here.
Most people think that it's now an eyesore with all the rusted up coaches, but I love it and think it would make an excellent location for an Armageddon or Zombie type film.
I have a real nostalgia for these buses as I used to travel to school every day on one.
Browns are still privately owned and the owner (son of Roy Brown sadly deceased) still gets behind the wheel.
You wouldn't get that with Stagecoach..
