Mt. Washington
As I drove home today thru the Cascades, Mt. Washington was shining. This volcano has such a unique shape at the top--I love the way it looks twisted. There were mini-avalanches down the side--I bet they would be big if one was standing on that ledge!
There was a huge forest fire at the base of this mountain several years ago. The tree skeletons on the bottom of the picture are the remnants of that fire.
I am one tired grandma. I had such a wonderful time with my six grandkids and their parents. We worked in the yard, watched movies, had pizza and "fried" ice cream, went to church, read together. The youngest is 5 months old, and has the cutest cheeks--just right to kiss and kiss! My daughter and I tackled several house projects that required brain and brawn! It is fun to see the end result. I am going to sleep good tonight!
