Warbeth

Last day of our visitors, so we headed west to the town of Stromness. After a coffee stop at our favourite cafe, Julia's, so made our way to the out of town beach at Warbeth. It was absolutely perfect!

We found a picnic spot and settled down to enjoy the sun, the waves, the birds and company. Helen had made sandwiches and packed a flask, so we were all set. Katya fell asleep in her buggy and we lazed around, Ollie patrolling back and for to make sure he knew were we all were and kept an eye on Katya!

The hills in the back ground are the hills of Hoy.

Home to fish pie followed by trifle - Mike's sister and brother both have his sweet tooth and love of custard, so I thought it was the obvious choice for their last evening!
