Helping Hands
Today has been all about pampering ....
I managed a lie in until 9am today, woke up to hear Mum's Tv on in her room. She had managed to get out of bed AND put the TV on. She wanted to watch Andy Murray in the Semi-final match in the tennis, but had to explain that it wasn't on until 12.30pm.
Undeterred, she insisted I try to find it until Shaki stepped in and said she was going to give my mum a makeover so she could be ready for the tennis. Phew!
Shaki managed to wash her hair and style it (No mean feat) then gave her a full manicure and painted her nails. Mum was delighted and said it made her feel so much better. We also got a letter from the hospital today marked urgent! Mum has to go for a heart scan in the morning. She got a little upset but we reassured her it's a routine follow up.
The boys Tod and David are coming to visit this evening for dinner and mum is happy to show off her new hair and nails. It will be nice to relax and have some company.
In Lelville today!
