My gorgeous, very adventurous son, Joe and his friend Tom. They spent the day tearing down a big hill on a downhill mountain bike event. Had a ball they did. This was my first time watching Joe and I have to admit it doesn't come easy - seeing my son hurling down a hill at speed takes some getting used to! Still, I would rather this than have him spend his days attached to some computerised gadget. Thats what I keep telling myself as I watch!! I must say though, in the end I concluded that there is a considerable amount of skill involved in racing down a hill. Good on them!
