Great play date this afternoon with another blipper. Good chat, sunshine and monkeys bars finally accomplished in the playground - our children enjoyed themselves too.

Been listening to a fantastic CD on the odd little ten-minute journey here and there today. Really, this is about as good as it gets in my book. Opening track here.

Elsewhere, the latest in the line of indie bands I used to like but whose quality output declined as their career advanced has given today's blip its title. I really did not like their second album in the slightest, waaaay too pompous and up itself. The first though, was pretty damned good to my ears.
