Cricket under the castle

If you squint you can just about see Edinburgh Castle and various other highlights from Edinburgh's skyline. I spent a lot of time watching cricket as a child, usually in classic English village settings. I thought this scene was a perfect example of Edinburgh's version of English rural life - greenery, a cricket match, but a beautiful city backdrop as well.

I like the way the trees' shadows create stripes on the grass. I do not like the red cricket gear, just doesn't seem right to me.

Also think it's about time I started taking some of these snaps with an actual camera, iPhone does have its limitations.
