Beware of the dragon
Today marked the day on which I officially became a Dresden citizen. This sounds more exciting or remarkable than it actually was. It basically only meant that I registered with the local registration office. This is something we are required to do in Germany. Every time you move you need to register your new main address. So Hello Dresden!
When I left the building I noticed this rather magnificent old door handle. It kind of reminded me of some mythical place that you enter ... where all sorts of crazy magical creatures await you behind huge old closed wooden doors. I guess I could imagine those nice ladies helping me registering being some fairies who protect the old lost city's gates ;)
I also managed to finally get a hold of my landlord or him finally calling me after I had tried to reach him for weeks. Sorted out a day on which I could hand over the flat ... unfortunately this means a rather stressful upcoming week with all the other things going on. I do know though that I will be glad once I have that done as well!
Otherwise another busy day behind the computer. Somehow this seems to become a more common rap these days, more than I had actually wanted to. On the other hand this is good I guess as it means I have work to do and manage quite well to sell my 8-hr work days :)
