Train Chaos

Why is that that there are always 'signalling problems' on a Friday after the end of a busy week; when the sun is out and you just want to get home and put your feet up?

Also, why is it that when everything is running smoothly the announcers are quite happy to update you on train progress, but as soon as there are issues, you are told nothing?

Finally, where do all the platform supervisors go at times like this? There are more yellow-jacketted whistling chaps, with their plastic lollypops, than commuters normally..

Not the greatest blip in the world, but I think it captures my wonderful journey home perfectly. At least the guy in the centre had something to smile about!
