Happy 30th Birthday

Today was my best friend's 30th birthday. In order to celebrate with her, R and me as well as A flew down to Italy to surprise her. It was great and all of us were incredibly glad that we had decided to go despite our work load or me having to move out of my flat in Frankfurt.

I have known S for almost 10 years. We met back at uni in England and have managed to keep this close even though we have never lived in the same country again. I miss her and sometimes I wish we could just meet up for coffee or dinner whenever we feel like it.
