Hit and Run shot

Today I visited a Farmers' Market as advertised in the Local Times - seasonal food and drink newsletter. The leaflet asks me to support the County's local food producers. It say's remember Think, Buy, Eat LOCAL.

Zoom in on this picture and look around. Confused - Well I am.

At least I can get some nice Tarleton cress.

I suppose they could be using and re-cycling other countries boxes and the packaging.

Perhaps they are allowed to sell stuff that isn't produced or can't be produced here but I feel that the information and the whole set up is misleading.

Edit - Update: It appears that a fair amount of council / public money is being spent on promoting these markets. Do they check them out and what happens if they are abused?

Further update - I have followed the link provided by Judith and although we are told that there are 26 farmers' markets in the area, and they are advertised as such, none of them are registered or regulated.
