Frog

A downpour of rain last night, I think the rainy season has arrived with a vengeance. Arriving with the rains are a host of new noises. We have gotten used to the quiet of La Ropa after a very noisy introduction to Mexico in our first few abodes, but now the air is alive with sound. Much of it, according to our neighbor who has lived here for year, can be attributed to the male frogs who are looking to mate. They create quite a ruckus during the night. I don't know if this is a male or female, but we made some noise to get even for our previous night's disturbed sleep.
