Barbara Willner Paints a Squash

I have a dear friend, Leslie Gabosh, who is a wonderful still life painter. She and two neighbors here in the Hudson Valley of New York state are having a month-long art show at a country store. It is such a wonderful art show that I took photographs and wrote up a little something on my blog, http://mystorylives.blogspot.com/2011/06/blog-post.html.

This image is a painting by Barbara Willner, whose work is just marvelous. Toward the bottom of the painting is a grasshopper -- wonderful and whimsical, like so much of her work.
