Wee Chookie Birdie!

I've had the most beautiful day today.
K and D's eldest had her first communion today and J was just stunning. She enjoyed every moment of her day and like any wee girl, revelled in all the attention, but always remembered her manners and was full of appreciation for all her wonderful gifts. A credit to her Mum and Dad.
Her younger sister also carried off a big role today, as it cannot be easy when your sister has the limelight for the day, but she was a star and looked beautiful in her dress too, enjoying the company and when too tired took herself off for forty winks to recharge her batteries. A very grown up girl.
Of course then there's the new addition, this is one of those moments that can go either way, when new baby decides not to settle and the direction of the day changes, but this young lady was a star too. Coping beautifully with all the noise and coo'ing faces in hers and the shoogying from everyone.
