A changing scene

I was torn between this photo and one of a Ragged Robin. I think I veered to this as it is marginally more interesting!

We are home now and so this will be the last boat blip for a while. We eventually got the engine started this morning - it seems to be fairly random when it chooses to start which is NOT GOOD if you are us at sea. Theoretically everything could be done under sail, but we ain't that good especially if the wind is not cooperating and so we rely on the engine at times. Anyway, having got it started we had a wee tour around Loch Creran, tested out the genoa (leaving the engine in neutral - rather defeating the joys of sailing, but we didn't fancy mooring under sail on our first trip of the season) and came back to the mooring.

One great joy of mine on the boat is the view from the kitchen/galley sink, hence today's blip. The fittings on the boat are fairly constant, but the view is forever changing.

The 'raindrops' on the window are actually splashes from a bit of bird shit removal I was doing yesterday - the weather was fine today!
