Her Celebration

Today was the day "L" has been waiting for all year. Her special day at school where her birthday is acknowledged in a very special and beautiful way. She said that her legs were shaking before the ceremony because she was so excited that her family was there to see it. She just glowed as her teacher gave a short year by year description of Layne's life. . Then a beautiful handmade pillow was given as a special remembrance of the celebration and it is intended to fill her dreams with beauty and splendor.

As one big group we finished the celebration with a piece of her homemade honey cake...a tradition that each child does for this day. It was wonderful and will forever treasure the memories:)
