Cooling off

It was a real scorcher today here in Bloomington. After lunch I walked Poppy over to Bryan Park and let her splash around a bit in a section of the stream bed that still has about a foot of water in it. As we headed toward home, we came to a shady spot under a big oak tree and Poppy began diving her nose into the lawn and rolling about. She seemed very content being on the cool, shady lawn so we sat there for a while before going home.
