Early start to catch a second breakfast at Tulliallan Police College where I was spending the day with colleagues doing staff development. A couple of excellent workshops run by part-time teaching staff, and lots of networking. A great day. I nipped out at lunch time to the loch in the woods behind the college, but there was no sign of any water birds, so a flower it had to be. I suspect this might be an iris.
